What is the difference between what you do with clients, and life-coaching or therapy?
I am neither a trained life-coach nor therapist.
There are times when I do recommend either coaching or therapy to a client, when I feel that those kinds of support could be useful. I recommend therapy or peer-counseling to people who have wounding from the past that creates chronic patterns of dysfunction and pain. I recommend coaching to people when they want rigorous encouragement and accountability in order to achieve specific pre-determined goals.
Although these kinds of needs can be satisfied in the work that I do with clients, my main focus is on exploring and embracing the client’s inner self as a means to experiencing more happiness and contentment in life, with a practical eye on making life more free and fun.
